Let’s get cleaned up!
“You see? This is how you do it!”
“He is not holding his tongue right!”
”He is supposed to do it with the wide part of the tongue, not with the edge!”
Little did they know that their trainer deliberately showed them how to do it the wrong way.
Once every year he sat down and twisted his tongue and started to rub it on the wrong side of his fur. Some of the students by then knew by heart how it is done, and they were quick to complain about it. However, there were others who had never done such before, because their parents took care of it for them, so they tried to follow his instructions as best as they could. In the end, though, he made everyone try to clean their furs - the wrong way.
There were some very funny attempts. Twisting the tongue seemed to be the hardest part, but some had problems with how to move their head, or their tongue got tangled up in their fur.
But in the process of doing it wrong, they slowly discovered how to do it right.
Because sometimes you cannot show how to do something right unless you show how to do it wrong first.
